Pontymister and Risca on the recently reopened Ebbw Vale line

One of the stations on the relatively recently reopened Ebbw Valley railway which runs from Cardiff Central to Ebbw Vale, south Wales. This survived until 2002 as a freight-only line used by the steelworks at Ebbw Vale, although all passenger services closed (including a through-line to Port Talbot, which hasn't reopened) in 1962. Reopened to passengers in 2008, this reborn route provides a vital link with the outside world.
