Dinorwic, Gwynedd

On the far side of the valley from Llanberis, on the flank of Elidir Mountain, Dinorwic slate quarry offers a panoramic view over Nant Peris Valley and far beyond. This view is over part of the village of Llanberis and Llyn Padarn, the lake on whose shores it stands.
