Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taff

The A4233 Maerdy Road winds steeply westward from Aberdare towards the Rhondda Fach (Little Rhondda) Valley. The top of the climb is a superb vantage point east over the Cynon Valley and north across the foothills and into the peaks of the Brecon Beacons.
