20 Folkeston Hill
Holiday chalet, Nolton Haven
This semi-detached bungalow is situated in a secluded valley near the coastal village of Nolton Haven. It is about five minutes' walk to the sandy cove with rock pools and inn serving good food and drink.
The accommodation
The bungalow is built from local stone and PVC. It has two bedrooms, one a double bedroom and one a twin bedroom. with new laminate flooring in the lounge . Nice size bathroom with bath, shower and WC.
Open plan lounge and well equipped kitchen, with TV and WiFi included in the cosy living room.
Outside is a private patio and lawn which benefits from mid morning to evening sunshine.
The location
Activities include surfing at Newgale, horse riding school in Nolton, boat trips to Ramsay island where you may see the seal population or boat trip to Skomer where you may see the Puffins both leaving from Whitesands, fishing trips from Solva or a trip to Ireland from Fishguard.
Doggy paradise, a visit to Scolton Manor where your dog can scramble through the small wooded area and can accompany you in the marquee attached to the restaurant for a bowl off highly recommended cawl or just coffee, cakes etc.
Don't forget a visit to St Davids with the beautiful cathedral and gift shops and cafe in the cathedral itself with delicious fresh scones butter and home made jam. Also a visit to Haverfordwest with the river running through is a must with shops to the right and left of the river and sitting area alongside it.
There are many beautiful walks in the area, and a visit to Hilton Court Craft and Design Centre is well worth a visit with lovely gardens you can amble through, and they serve very nice meals there also.
Further afield is the Cleddau Bridge and river (toll bridge) which leads to Pembroke Castle. We found a lovely pub, The Jolly Sailor, off to the left just before the bridge where they serve very good meals overlooking the river. They also have an outside area where you can eat and where your dog is welcome.
